On April 1st, Indian Land Track & Field travelled over to Catawba Ridge for a Tri-meet against Fort Mill and Catawba Ridge. WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME TO BE A WARRIOR! We had two records broken last night. RYAN FOSTER broke his own record he set this year in the 400m running it in 48.30. The second record broke last night was CAITLIN LINDO in the 400m, which she ran in 58.76. Last night was such a great night for the Warriors with numerous athletes setting new PR's for themselves. Saturday, ILHS Track and Field competed in the Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic at South Pointe High School. There were 16 teams there from all over the upper state of South Carolina. This meet is the qualifier for the Elite meet in April. We were able to have numerous student athletes that qualified to compete with the top athletes in the State in all divisions. Below were our top performers of the Meet. We had one student athlete who won the whole meet in his event. Sequel Patterson came in 1st place in High Jump. We also had a school record broken by sophomore Ryan Foster in the 400m, placed second in the meet but ran a 48.64. (For those who do not know a 400 is a full lap around the track lol) Our boys program came in 5th overall and our girls program came in 8th overall. GO WARRIORS!!!

ILHS JROTC Archery Team finished First overall with a score of 1609 points in the JROTC Bullseye division.

Let's celebrate Indian Land High School's success in Charleston last week at the HOSA State Leadership Conference, where some of our students competed in medical competitions.
Our first celebration is that our students raised over $3000 dollars for bone marrow donations through NMDP.
Also, our school was in the top 5 for testing averages (solo testing competitions)
Rayan J was recognized for having one of the top 5 test scores for a Health Care Issues exam.
Ava P was recognized for having one of the top 5 testing scores for Behavioral Health.
Mahi K won second place in extemporaneous writing.
The team of Hasini K, Nidhi V, and Meghna G. was in the top 5 for medical innovation.

Last night, ILHS Track and Field took on Nation Ford High School and had an outstanding night to go along with that fabulous weather. We broke two school records last night Kent P and Alivia J, during Shot Put. Aliva threw 10.70m and Kent threw 14.16m. Please congratulate those two student athletes in particular. Indian Land boys won the meet and our girls fell short to Nation Ford High School. Our top results from the meet.
