Sunday Weekly Update 10-27-24

Good afternoon, this is Rick Parker, Principal of Indian Land High School, calling with a Sunday Weekly Update. We had an amazing Trunk or Treat event this past Saturday! So many families attended to enjoy some fun, participating in trick or treating, dressing up, playing games and having some lunch from the various Food Trucks. The decorated Trunk or Treat booths from our clubs, organizations, and local businesses were awesome! Thank you to Ms. Faris and Student Congress for planning such a great event for the community! Thank you to Mr. Richardson for being the DJ and bringing a great playlist of songs! Thank you to all students and staff that assisted with the event especially, Ms. De Beus and Mr. Reyes. We had a Multilingual Family event on Saturday in the media center to inform our Latino Families of school resources and upcoming events. Our Golf team participated in the Upper State Golf Championship on Monday, 10/21 and on Saturday, 10/25, our Band traveled to Bowling Springs, SC to compete in the State Finals.
