Monday Weekly Update 10-21-24
Good afternoon, this is Rick Parker, Principal of Indian Land High School, calling with a Monday Weekly Update. I sincerely hope you had a great Fall Break and enjoying the last day. This week we have a lot going on with the PSAT, ASVAB, and SAT testing, a Senior Career and College Exploration/Job Shadow Day, and the beginning of the Red Ribbon Week.
Here is What’s Important Now for this upcoming week:
FLEX Update: Tuesday, 10/22: Students will report to homeroom for FLEX on Tuesday. Students sign up for FLEX for the rest of the week. Study Hall 1 has been moved to the main gym. Students must sit on the bleachers and work quietly. Study hall 2 will be on the left side of the commons outside of the gym. This is a silent study hall. There is a 3rd study hall location with Mr. Helsley in room M111. If a student has a 79 or below in a class, they will be assigned mandatory FLEX, but teachers can assign it for any reason they deem necessary. Students should always check your schedule before FLEX to know where you are supposed to report.
